Do you need a doctors referral to see a physiotherapist?

No, you do not need a doctors referral to see a physiotherapist.
The situations you will need to see the doctor beforehand is if you are claiming through Workcover (Injured yourself at work), Department of Veteran Affairs, Medicare (Enhanced primary care plan) or Compulsory third party (Injured in a motor vehicle accident).

We liase closely with your doctor if we feel you need to consult them.

What type of treatment do you offer?
At Victoria road physiotherapy, we are proud to provide a hands on approach to treating your condition. Please see link on home page re our services and what we treat.

How long are the treatment sessions for?
Initial and follow up consultations are both up to 30 minutes . This is generally adequate to assess, diagnose and treat most conditions.

What should  I wear to my appointments?
Appropriate loose and comfortable clothing which exposes the area to be assessed and treated.

Should I bring my Xrays/Imaging
Yes, Please bring any relevant investigations

What are the parking options?
We would recommend to park at Coles or Woolworths and is a short 2-3 minute walk from the clinic.
Closest street parking is available on Graf avenue or Dickson avenue, however is limited.
If mobility is of concern, parking is available on Victoria road between 10am and 3pm.

Do you have Hicaps?

Yes, we can claim your treatment cost  with your health fund directly and you then pay the balance after you receive your health rebate.

Yes, we guarantee to see you today if your condition cannot wait,  otherwise you will  not  wait  for an appointment more than 24 hours.

What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for a minimum 24 hours notice if you require to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
